Gai Lan (Kai-lan)

Despite also going by the names Chinese broccoli and Chinese kale, gai lan is thought to be native to the Mediterranean. It has a similar flavor to broccoli and is an excellent stir fry addition or a simple side dish. And it's good to eat from stem to flower!

STORAGE: Store gai lan unwashed in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your fridge for 4-7 days.

RECIPE:

Gai Lan Oyster Sauce Stir-Fry

Gai Lan and Shitake Stir-Fried Brown Rice

Sauteed Chinese Broccoli with Garlic
